I’ll admit it up front: If there’s a Snickers involved, my expectations are already high. So when these new ice cream bars came onto my radar, I was both excited and deeply skeptical. Can the mini versions meet such a high bar? I tried all 5 flavors—Original, Crunchy Peanut Butter, Salted Caramel, Almond, and M&M’s—to see how they stack up.
First, I need to acknowledge their size. These are genuinely mini, the kind of ice cream bar you grab thinking you’ll just have one…and suddenly the box is empty. That’s not a complaint, just a warning. The smaller format works surprisingly well for Snickers, especially since the original candy can feel heavy if you’re not fully committing.

Original Snickers Mini
The Original Snickers Ice Cream Mini is exactly what you want it to be—peanut butter ice cream, ribbons of caramel, crunchy peanuts, and a chocolate shell that snaps when you bite into it. It’s familiar in the best way. There’s nothing revolutionary here, but nothing needs fixing. The peanut flavor is strong, the caramel doesn’t freeze into a tooth-breaking brick, and the peanuts still bring that essential crunch. If you only tried this one, you’d walk away happy.
Crunchy Peanut Butter
Then there’s the Crunchy Peanut Butter flavor, which genuinely surprised me. This is Snickers turned up a notch. The peanut flavor is more intense, the crunch is louder, and the whole thing feels more deliberate. It’s bold in a way the original isn’t. I kept thinking, “This might actually replace the original for me.” If you’re someone who eats around the caramel to get to the peanuts in a Snickers bar, this one’s for you.
Salted Caramel
The Salted Caramel flavor is good, but slightly confusing. The peanut flavor still comes through nicely, and the caramel is smooth and rich, but the “salted” part is barely there. I wouldn’t clock it as salted caramel if it weren’t in the name. That said, it’s still enjoyable, but it doesn’t feel any different from the Original.
Almond
The Almond flavor was the least memorable for me. It tastes like a perfectly fine almond ice cream bar, but it doesn’t scream Snickers. If you handed me this blindfolded, I wouldn’t immediately guess Snickers.
Snickers x M&M’S
The option I was most excited about, Snickers x M&M’s, was also my biggest disappointment. I know this is a first-of-its-kind crossover, but the M&M’s just don’t belong here, at least not for me. They don’t deliver the same satisfying crunch as peanuts, and the peanut flavor—which is non-negotiable for Snickers—feels muted. It ends up tasting more like a generic candy ice cream than a true Snickers experience.
Final Verdict
Snickers Ice Cream Minis are a mostly successful experiment, with one standout that genuinely impressed me. The Crunchy Peanut Butter flavor is the clear winner, followed closely by the original. A couple of flavors feel unnecessary, and one feels slightly off-brand, but overall? This is a solid lineup that understands what makes Snickers work, even if not every variation nails it.
Just don’t pretend you’re buying them to “try one.” That’s a lie you’ll tell yourself once, and never again.
